Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme
We used points and a Suite Night Upgrade to stay here for four nights in January 2026. This is how the stay went, and whether we would do it again.
Our hotel status
I am a Globalist member with Hyatt and a Titanium member with Marriott. Marriott granted me Lifetime Titanium during a short window when they offered it to both Starwood and Marriott members; as of August 2026, they no longer offer lifetime Titanium. With Hyatt, I stay enough nights each year to qualify for Globalist.
The stay
Normally I stay at other hotels around Paris, but I wanted to try the Park Hyatt and check out the service. In January 2026 I used points for a four-night stay and applied a Suite Night Upgrade, which Hyatt gives Globalist members to use on both points and paid stays. When we arrived, the hotel upgraded us again, to the next level of suite, which was a nice surprise. One thing to note: upgrades are easier to get during off-peak travel times.
The location is perfect, not only for getting around Paris but for how close it is to shopping, if you like that. It is also around the corner from Le Petit Vendôme, our favorite sandwich shop in Paris.
The room
The room was well appointed and included a large bathroom with both a shower and a tub. We also asked the hotel to split the king bed into two separate beds with separate bedding, which seems to be standard at most Hyatt hotels in Paris.
Service and breakfast
Overall, the staff was good. They always greeted us on the way in and the way out. As a Globalist, you get free breakfast, and the hotel lets you take it either as room service at no extra charge or in the restaurant. That is a nice option if you want to enjoy room service in your room.
Would I stay here again?
Yes. We used points, and if you can get a good point redemption and apply a Suite Night Upgrade, it is a great place to stay. But in general, you will find me at other hotels around Paris.
