Pizza and more
The best place we found was Farini. They have two locations in Venice, and their bakery includes pizza and other items at a reasonable price. Nice, clean, and decent pricing.
Gelato
I would suggest Grom as the best here. Yes, I know it is a chain, but still, it was good.
The gondola ride
We took the 30 minute ride that goes into the Grand Canal. The best time to go is just around 6pm, since at 7pm the price goes up, and you get a cooler ride than trying to do it in the middle of the day.
We checked out a few places and ended up at Gondola Station Bacino Orseolo. We felt they were the nicest, and they would take us into the Grand Canal.
The Banksy in Venice
If you like Banksy street art, he has one by the fire station in Venice. Most locals do not know about it.
